Many couples planning to get married in 2020 have had to alter or delay their plans due to Covid-19. Despite the limitations, some couples are getting creative and making the best of the situation.
Candyse and Emiliano had planned to get married in May but had to rearrange their plans since they lived in an area that had social restrictions. They were unable to have a wedding ceremony and reception with all their family and friends. Instead of postponing everything, they decided to go forward with the ceremony in their home and have the reception at a future date.
Candyse and her family decorated the house beautifully. You can feel that every detail was well thought out and put together with so much love.
The morning of the ceremony was very calm and peaceful. It was her and mother getting ready together. All her details were laid out and waiting for us (a photographers dream!) From her string of pearls to her lace ballet slippers.
Her lace and tulle ballgown was custom made by Tamara Kristen and was carefully hung up in the room with the help of mom.
The ceremony was attended in person by their immediate family and the rest were tied in through Zoom.
The ceremony was then followed up by friends and family driving by the house with signs and gifts and even fireworks! The energy was incredible!
Afterwards we headed to a secret location for some portraits. We spent golden hour catching the most dreamy portraits!
